Carlos H. Lowenberg Jr., Chartered Financial Consultant, is the Founder and President of the Lowenberg Wealth Management Group Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1993, Carlos was a founding partner of the Executive Benefits Group, and in 1995, founded the Lowenberg Wealth Management Group Inc., formerly Covenant Wealth Management.
The Lowenberg Wealth Management Group Inc., A Registered Investment Adviser, in Austin, Texas, is a boutique financial services firm that serves entrepreneurial-minded individuals. They help clients add value to their businesses through Business Transition Planning, Key Person Reward and Retention Strategies, and Wealth Preservation. In addition, Mr. Lowenberg has extensive knowledge, expertise, and experience in all aspects of Family Wealth Counseling, Charitable Estate Planning, and Wealth Transfer Planning. He also is the creator of the Wealth on Purpose® system.
Mr. Lowenberg is often the featured speaker at seminars and conferences in the financial services industry and has consulted for law firms and accounting firms in the areas of tax and estate planning. His writings have been published and he is also a co-author of the book entitled Family Wealth Counseling – Getting to the Heart of the Matter by Mr. E.G. "Jay" Link, one of the foremost experts on issues and strategies relating to charitable planning techniques for wealthy families.
Mr. Lowenberg is a member of numerous industry organizations, including: the Association for Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU), the International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy (formerly the National Association of Family Wealth Counselors), National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors (NAIFA), National Association of Charitable Estate Counselors (NACEC), and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). Carlos was named to the Board of Regents of the National Heritage Foundation.
Carlos and his wife Nicole reside in Austin, Texas, with their two sons, Nicolas and Tres. Carlos is also Chairman of the Board of City School Austin.
